Title: Sales & Dealer Liaison

Position: Full-Time (minimum 40 hours per week)

Reporting To: Director of Global Sales

Based: Finish Line HQ, Hauppauge, NY

Position Summary:

Finish Line is seeking a Sales & Dealer Liaison to join our corporate sales team on Long Island, NY.  The two primary objectives of this role: Create incremental demand for our products from leading domestic bicycle shops. Provide exceptional customer service through phone, email and social media communication.

Sales & Dealer Liaison will work closely with Finish Line’s Director of Sales and Director of Marketing to shape and execute sales and marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate must be ambitious, hard-working, and highly effective at relationship building and communicating with conviction and subtle persuasion. Having an intimate understanding of how successful bicycle shops operate and a general understanding of bicycle mechanics and maintenance is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute dealer out-reach programs via phone, email and shop visits to expand our domestic dealer base.
  • Proactively reach out to existing Finish Line bike dealers for the purpose of developing relationships that will help us and them grow sales together.
  • Elevate brand awareness throughout the bicycle industry via product education, sampling and relationship building.
  • Clearly and efficiently communicate the strength of the brand and the effectiveness and uniqueness of our products.
  • Field a wide array of customer service requests stemming from both bicycle shops and consumers.
  • Work with the Marketing Team to plan monthly email and social media campaigns across our different platforms.
  • Maintain our product development and showroom store, ensuring it is tidy and that all merchandising is up to date.

Core Skills:

  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with the following Microsoft Office programs: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Ideal Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability in meeting objectives.
  • A strong understanding and interest in cycling and mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with colleague’s and industry contacts.
  • Familiarity with marketing strategies and consumer psychology.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work overtime to meet deadlines and travel for trade shows, demonstrations, and client meetings.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and take them to completion.
